Fujifilm X-T2 vs X-T20 – The complete comparison

Last update on: March 6th, 2019

Since its announcement in early 2015, the X-T1 has been one of Fujifilm’s most popular cameras. It is for this reason that the company released a smaller version one and a half years later – the X-T10 – that was priced more attractively despite having the same the image quality and autofocus performance as the X-T1.

When the third generation of X series cameras was revealed in January 2016, it was only natural for Fujifilm to embrace the same strategy. This time it took just seven months for the brand to announce the X-T20, a smaller version of the flagship X-T2 that once again has the same performance as its older sibling but comes at a more attractive price.

Sony a6500 vs. Fujifilm X-T2 – The complete comparison

Updated on: March 6th, 2019

I was tempted to begin this comparison by calling it “the ultimate mirrorless APS-C camera battle” but there is an expiry date on the validity of such a statement in this dynamic market. Rumours (via FujiRumors) about a high-end APS-C model from Fujifilm abound, while with Sony – well, with Sony we can’t never be sure of anything, can’t we? There are many differences between the Sony a6300 and the Fujifilm X-Pro2 but two of the most important characteristics – image quality and autofocus – actually behave in a similar manner. Both cameras inaugurated the two most recent APS-C sensors that have since been implemented on other products such as the X-T20, X-T2 and a6500 respectively, and their autofocus systems are among the best I’ve had the chance to use. So even though the price, build quality, additional features and target users are all different, there is actually a valid reason to compare these two cameras!

Updated on: July 3rd, 2019

The Olympus OM-D E-M1 II and the Fujifilm X-T2 are two of the most advanced performers you can find on the market today, not only in terms of pure image quality, but also autofocus, video and many other aspects. An important upgrade to their respective systems, they further reduce the gap between mirrorless technology and DSLRs, and greatly contribute to the perception of mirrorless cameras as a viable and serious offer, designed not only for amateurs but professional photographers as well.

Fujifilm X-T2 vs. X-Pro2 – The complete comparison

Updated on: March 6th, 2019

A few weeks ago we shared our in-depth comparison between the Fujifilm X-T1 and X-T2, but if you are interested in Fujifilm’s latest flagship, there is another contender worth talking about: the X-Pro2.

Released in January 2016, the X-Pro2 warmed the dancefloor by showing off a new sensor, relevant improvements to autofocus performance, a more robust build quality and enhanced functionalities. The X-T2 came later in July to refine that new technology, and even went a step further by adding more advanced video capabilities that brought it to the same level as the competition.
