The Panasonic Lumix DMC GX85 is a mid-range mirrorless interchangeable lens camera with a Micro Four Thirds mount. It is known as the GX80 in Europe or the GX7 mark II in Asia. This naming system was mostly likely adopted to discourage grey market sales, though Panasonic has not confirmed one way or the other.

Compared to the large and bulky Lumix GX8, the GX85 is far more pocketable and streamlined, which is why many consider it the spiritual successor to the Lumix GX7. It has a flat-topped body similar to that of a rangefinder and a fixed built-in electronic viewfinder. Other important features include 4K video at 30fps, 4K PHOTO modes, and Dual I.S. (image stabilisation) that works on five axes. It lacks an anti-aliasing filter in front of the 16MP sensor, allowing for 10% more resolution than before.
