Last year, while we were visiting Canada and reviewing the M.Zuiko 7-14mm f/2.8, we had the chance to compare it to the Lumix 7-14mm f/4 over the course of a very hot and sticky August afternoon. We conducted this comparison because many of you had expressed a curiosity about the differences in optical quality between these two lenses. A special thanks goes out to Aden Camera in Toronto for kindly lending us the Lumix lens at the time. It’s definitely a camera store worth checking out if you live in the area or if you are visiting the city.

Sony 85mm f/1.4 GM vs. Zeiss Batis 85mm f/1.8 – The complete comparison
The interesting thing about the Sony FE system is that you can adapt many third party lenses and you can find a very good selection for portraits. However it is also important to have a choice from the native E-mount catalogue. Between 2015 and this year, the system went from zero to two excellent portrait lenses: the Sony G Master and the Zeiss Batis.
Sony A7s II vs A7r II – The complete comparison
In 2014 I selected the original A7s as one of my favourite cameras of 2014, not just for its stunning low-light capabilities for both stills and video but also because at the time, it felt like the most mature A7 model. The thing about Sony, however, is that it has become harder and harder to pick a favourite given all the new cameras constantly flooding the market. I mean, what other company has managed to release 7 full-frame cameras in less than two years?
