Last week, we only had lenses to talk about: a new autofocus prime from Samyang and a new version of the niche Trioplan manual focus lens.
Samyang AF 135mm F1.8
Samyang introduced its 14th autofocus lens for the Sony E-mount system, a medium telephoto with a bright aperture, and a more affordable alternative to the mighty 135mm G Master.
The lens features a focus hold button, a customisable switch and a focus range limiter. The lens is weather sealed and can be yours from March 2022 for $1000.

Meyer Optik Görlitz Trioplan 35mm f/2.8 II
Meyer Optik Görlitz announced a new version of the Trioplan 35mm with the soap bubble bokeh that the Trioplan series is known for. It’s strictly manual focus with no electronic contacts, and is available for most mounts including Canon RF, Nikon Z, Sony E, Fujifilm X, Leica L and Micro Four Thirds. It is a lens designed for full frame sensors, so it will give you an equivalent field of view of 50mm on APS-C, and 70mm on M4/3. Price is €900.
