1. VIEWFINDER The viewfinders of both cameras share similar specs (2.36M dots), but their position differs. The X-S20 has its EVF located at the top center, whereas the Sony has it in the top left corner.

2. STABILISATION The A6700 and  X-S20 feature 5-axis stabilization. The Sony offers a compensation of 5 stops, while the X-S20 takes it two steps further with a rating of 7.0EV.

3. AUTOFOCUS Both cameras can track people, animals, birds, insects and vehicles. Sony has a dedicated AI processing chip for this. However, in low-light, the X-S20 has a better rating (-5.0EV vs -3.0EV at f/2).

4. DRIVE SPEED The A6700 offers a maximum drive speed of 11fps. The  X-S20 can achieve 8fps with the mechanical shutter, 20fps with the electronic shutter, and 30fps with a 1.25x sensor crop.

5. VIDEO  The A6700 offers 4K up to 60p with a 1.04x sensor crop, and 4K 120p with a more substantial 1.58x crop. The X-S20 records 6.2K in open gate, utilizing the entire 3:2 sensor surface.
