1. SENSOR The A7CR features a 61.0MP sensor. On the other hand, the A7 IV has 33.0MP. There are differences in ISO sensitivity, with the A7 IV offering a broader range.

2. AUTOFOCUS Both offer real-time tracking and subject detection, but the A7CR has more advanced capabilities. It can detect more body parts and recognize a wider variety of subjects.

3. 4K 60p VIDEO The A7CR can capture 4K video at 50/60p but with a 1.2x sensor crop and line-skipping. The A7 IV can record 4K 50 / 60p with the Super35 mode (1.5x crop), by oversampling.

4. SENSOR SHIFT The A7CR offers Pixel Shift Multi Shooting. It can capture 16 images, shifting the sensor by one pixel between each shot, and create an astonishing 240MP file in post.

5. CARDS  The A7CR has one SD card slot (UHS-II). The A7 IV is equipped with two slots. The first is hybrid, capable of taking either an SD UHS-II card or a CFexpress Type A.
